I made this card for a friend who was about to run in her first 5K. I cut the running shoe using my Cricut Expression and SCAL (older version that still works with Cricut) and a free SVG file of a <a href="http://svgcuts.com/blog/2010/08/04/free-svg-file-sure-cuts-a-lot-08-04-10-running-shoe/">running shoe downloaded a few years ago from SVGCuts</a>. I chose the colors based on ones in a pair of shoes she owns. Both the sentiment and the inside verse ("Remember Running into the wind will only make you stronger") were done on the computer but based off of stamps from <a href="http://www.mypinkstamper.com/">My Pink Stamper</a>. The embossing is the Cuttlebug folder herringbone.RAPhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08474701179594448645noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278011158970596772.post-51920798219402179032011-05-09T20:02:00.000-07:002011-05-09T20:06:58.367-07:00My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #11<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZO00RSCT0U2VbQrhhPiXSx8BGO4GKxLcJeyLqTWm5WR3mR7Jjk_BfqY6kkOWvPx7Hk5D0gYrVNcCZYzZQgcQny3xJE8PlsMt9aEoOJorQzjQc4Ww1oH8w2QHPKnBfeq4Rpc19ny5DEfo/s1600/pink+green+%2526+black.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 246px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZO00RSCT0U2VbQrhhPiXSx8BGO4GKxLcJeyLqTWm5WR3mR7Jjk_BfqY6kkOWvPx7Hk5D0gYrVNcCZYzZQgcQny3xJE8PlsMt9aEoOJorQzjQc4Ww1oH8w2QHPKnBfeq4Rpc19ny5DEfo/s320/pink+green+%2526+black.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5604918188599425202" border="0" /></a><br />This challenge required making something using green, pink and black. One thing I discovered is I don't have a "Happy Valentine's Day" stamp! The first card had the perfect spot for it on the front and I would have used it on the inside of the others. I need to keep an eye on dollar bins for one but I expect I'll have to wait until next year now to find one.<br /><br /><br />The first has an Asian theme. I saw someone else do this or very similar to it recently but I can't remember where to give credit.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7BMRCTFcfb9cxFEqISkFol2Cedn5J1y7knve9KhcJ70nojpXC2PQ5OaCwg4LPcewmimrH_Ay3OMUEIKsefw9a0b2ue9GAuYaCTMALRJgFR7zU_IkIHxrk0oSFfjg1YqFJvi2jOLRl8dk/s1600/IMG_2738+003+copy.jpg"><br /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7BMRCTFcfb9cxFEqISkFol2Cedn5J1y7knve9KhcJ70nojpXC2PQ5OaCwg4LPcewmimrH_Ay3OMUEIKsefw9a0b2ue9GAuYaCTMALRJgFR7zU_IkIHxrk0oSFfjg1YqFJvi2jOLRl8dk/s1600/IMG_2738+003+copy.jpg"> </a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp-H7-Ws0FRxuXQm4bGMgRu8V3zgLok0MygLvntJ-HxwXh_kqk8DvyvoKGdGSEr52Cqv94QI_MDXX8ylLcdrV0g6EQNkVyrAdNfhoafswUwJ7ngtKOkG9Nl5h-B-CoNPuMUDgHucViEQY/s1600/IMG_2738+003+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; The diecut star is from the Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and the stamps are Everyday Expressions from Paper Studio. This card actually goes to the younger brother of other one. I should just use the rest of the paper and make a few more but I always procrastinate. Their challenge to was to use the vase and Mom or Mum from the Beyond Birthdays cartridge. You can see all of their awesome designs <a href="http://regina-bittenbythebug.blogspot.com/2009/05/beyond-birthdaysvase-and-mom-challenge.html">here</a>. I decided to try one too. This was my first card to use my new cuttlebug and the swiss dots embossing folder.
